Pennylane

Pennylane Productions is a video production company headquartered in Smithtown that works with mid-size and large companies and nonprofits across Long Island, New York City, and Westchester. It started in 2001 producing live event video, then expanded into corporate and nonprofit video production.

Pennylane specializes in interview-style video and focuses on four main types: marketing, awareness, recruitment, and training videos. The team handles every stage in-house, from concept and scripting through filming, editing, motion graphics, CGI, and animation. Clients include Northwell Health, and Pennylane has produced many videos for members of HIA-LI, the business association for the Long Island Innovation Park at Hauppauge, where it is also a member.

Its years of live event work shaped how the team operates today, with an emphasis on clear messaging, creative storytelling, and solving problems on the fly.
