Janco Press is a family-owned label and packaging printer on Floyds Run in Bohemia, founded in 1967 by Mike Janco. Printing runs four generations deep in the family, going back to Mike’s father, Simon, who managed a New York City print shop after immigrating in 1902. Today the business is led by Seth Janco and his son Remy from a 15,000-square-foot facility, where it manufactures labels, flexible packaging, folding cartons, tags, and wraps. Its customers include brands in health and beauty, pharmaceuticals, vitamins and supplements, food, and wine and spirits. Janco combines digital and flexographic printing with rotary letterpress, silk screen, hot stamping, cold foil, embossing, and tactile and holographic finishes, and it also produces extended content labels for products that need more room for information. For a Long Island food, beverage, or personal care brand moving from homemade labels to professional packaging, it offers a local, hands-on alternative to out-of-state converters.
