Hi-Tek Data is a managed IT and cybersecurity firm founded in 1982 by Alex Hartley and still headquartered at 6901 Jericho Turnpike in Syosset. His son, Adam Hartley, has led the company as CEO since 2014, and Sea Pine Equity became its majority owner in 2024.

Hi-Tek offers fully managed IT and co-managed IT for businesses with their own internal staff, along with cybersecurity, a 24/7 security operations center, Microsoft 365 support, cloud services, virtual CIO advisory, and compliance support for frameworks including HIPAA, NY DFS Part 500, and SOC 2. Its in-house development team builds custom integrations and workflow automations.

The firm serves more than 175 businesses, including professional services firms, healthcare practices, manufacturers, and accounting and law firms, with most clients along the LIE corridor.
