Journey Through the Gate: A Legacy Spanning Decades
What began as a single movie in 1994 evolved into one of science fiction’s most beloved franchises. From the moment Daniel Jackson first deciphered ancient symbols and stepped through that shimmering event horizon, the Stargate universe has captivated audiences with its blend of archaeology, mythology, and interstellar adventure.
Stargate SG-1 launched in 1997, transforming a simple premise into a rich tapestry of alien civilizations, ancient mysteries, and human courage. For ten remarkable seasons, we followed SG-1 through countless worlds, watching Earth grow from a primitive civilization hiding behind its iris to a formidable player in galactic politics. The series masterfully wove together Egyptian, Norse, and other mythologies, revealing them as masks worn by parasitic Goa’uld overlords.
The franchise expanded with Stargate Atlantis, taking us to the lost city in the Pegasus Galaxy where ancient Lanteans once thrived. Here, a small expedition faced the terrifying Wraith while uncovering incredible technologies and forming unlikely alliances. The show explored themes of sacrifice, discovery, and what it means to be far from home.
Stargate Universe pushed boundaries further, stranding a diverse group aboard the ancient ship Destiny on an involuntary journey across the cosmos. Though brief, SGU showed us a grittier, more personal side of the Stargate universe, where survival trumped exploration and every decision carried weight.

Our Mission: Building Tomorrow’s Gate Network
This community exists because the spirit of exploration that drives every Stargate team drives us too. We’re not content to simply reminisce about past adventures—we’re building something new.
What We’re Creating
The Archive Project: We’re developing comprehensive databases of planets, technologies, species, and characters. Every world visited, every alien encountered, every piece of Ancient tech discovered—all catalogued with the thoroughness of the SGC itself.
Interactive Experiences: Plans are underway for virtual mission briefings, character creators, and interactive maps of gate networks. Imagine planning your own off-world missions or exploring Atlantis room by room.
Fan Content Hub: A central space for fan fiction, artwork, video projects, and discussion. We believe the best stories come from fans who understand what makes this universe special.
Community Events: Virtual conventions, episode watch parties, trivia challenges, and collaborative projects. The gate brought civilizations together—we’re doing the same for fans.
Future Site Network
Our vision extends beyond a single site. We’re planning specialized destinations:
- Mission Archives: Detailed episode guides and analysis
- Tech Database: Every piece of Ancient, Goa’uld, and human technology explained
- Character Profiles: In-depth looks at everyone from Jack O’Neill to Teyla Emmagan
- Fan Creations: Showcasing the incredible creativity of our community
- News Central: Updates on cast, crew, and potential future projects
